Accessing Outlook Web Access using Microsoft ISA Server and 2-factor authentication

Outlook Web Access (OWA) provides web browser access to e-mail, scheduling (including group scheduling), contacts, and collaborative information. By publishing OWA through Microsoft ISA Server, the OWA server is protected; rather than directly accessing the OWA server the user accesses the ISA Server, which then forwards the request.

Microsoft ISA Server provides the core functionality for the Celestix MSA appliance. This appliance filters all traffic - including SSL and VPN communications - with proxy-based deep-packet inspection.

However, allowing remote users access to OWA and authenticating using static, shared, reusable or easily guessed domain passwords exposes your business to significant risk. CRYPTOCard is the ideal defence mechanism against static passwords and provides a secure, affordable and manageable access control method for users of OWA.
